On holiday on Lanzarote and wanting something a little different, away from others? Here we have the perfect solution.

Last week Keith did a day sail for two Italians, Matteo and Carla, from Puerto Calero to Papagayo beaches.

The wind was fresh and the sea blue and calm. In the morning there was a gentle "down wind" sail, and then they anchored for lunch for a swim and lunch. After lunch they sailed back seeing dolphins on the way. Fantastic day.

The perfect time to get your qualification prior to the summer season.

Some feedback from a previous course: The CI Course was a wonderful 6 day experience. The knowledge that it was going to be challenging and take us back to a theory test that I hadn't done for a good while made me revise the theory for a good while before the course. Despite what I considered a reasonable amount of preparation, I still found myself making some stupid mistakes on the Nav paper and would recommend anyone who does the course to be careful in reading what is on the chart and the question. I had two fantanstic colleagues on the course both with masses of sailing experience and fantastic personalities. I feel we gelled together as a team very well and behind the scenes there was a lot of collaboration bouncing ideas for teaching and theory questions off each other when we were away from our tutor. Lanzarote provides a great sailing area to hone skills.

There were holes in my experience and thanks to Keith for making the time to help me with these. The teaching tutorials where we had some preparation time were very helpful and broadened my sailing knowledge.

The boat was in excellent condition and very well provisioned.. I miss the Lemon cake.

Day Skipper candidates are knowledge hungry and keen for experience. It is an absolute pleasure to watch them grow in confidence as they improve in the way they accomplish taks.. I came back from the course really buzzing ans with some great feedback.. I cannot thank you enough."

Advanced Drills and Skills.

Working towards your Yachtmaster but would like time to devote to the sailing skills required? This is the perfect opportunity. With drills such as sailing onto and off mooring buoys and anchors and focus on sail trim this course will assess your skills level and give you feedback on how to obtain your Yachtmaster qualification.
